Canola oil is known as the world’s healthiest cooking oil. It contains high levels of monosaturated fatty acids (known to reduce blood cholesterol levels), polyunsaturated fats omega-3s (which may assist in heart attack and stroke prevention) and omega-6s (important for brain and essential for the growth and development of infants). Canola oil is also rich in vitamin E, and is cholesterol free.
Substituting vegetable or canola oil for butter is fairly simple. Generally, you can use ¾ cup of canola or vegetable oil for 1 cup of butter.

The smoke points of our oils vary. Our Canola Oil has the highest smoke point, at 468°F. Our Corn Oil and Vegetable Oils have a smoke point of 453°F. Though our oils have high smoke points, any oil will burn if overheated. Do not leave oil unattended while heating. If oil smokes, reduce the heat.
