Canola oil is known as the world’s healthiest cooking oil. It contains high levels of monosaturated fatty acids (known to reduce blood cholesterol levels), polyunsaturated fats omega-3s (which may assist in heart attack and stroke prevention) and omega-6s (important for brain and essential for the growth and development of infants). Furthermore, Canola oil is also rich in vitamin E, and is cholesterol free.
Substituting vegetable or canola oil for butter is fairly simple. Generally, swap ¾ cup of canola or vegetable oil for 1 cup of butter.
In addition to our retail oils, we also produce high quality Wesson products for the food service industry. Visit Richardson Food & Ingredients to learn more about our full line of Wesson Food Service products.
